Reading the plate. The closer to the center, the better the record. A seed’s size is its run margin — the gap between runs scored and runs allowed — so the bigger the seed, the wider that gap. A filled seed means a team outscores its opponents; an open husk means it’s being outscored. The faint rings are winning-percentage markers, like latitude lines.
The dive. Choose any club to zoom into seven stats: win %, run differential, runs, runs allowed, last ten, home and away.
Power ranking. Clubs also get a power index. It’s 40% winning percentage, 32% Pythagorean expectation (sports = math), 16% last-10 record, 12% run differential per game, scaled 30 to 100. Real talk: it doesn’t line up neatly with published power rankings, and that’s on purpose — it’s a different way of looking, not a correction.
